An exclusive and high profile restaurant, Omakase Japanese Restaurant has a Michelin Star chef and caters for world leaders who attend conferences at the Capital Hotel in Beijing. The level of finish of the interiors and lighting needed to be exceptional to match the calibre of the restaurant's clientele. The design captures a fusion of contemporary and traditional elements of Japanese aesthetics whilst creating a calm environment with views out to the 300 year old trees in the courtyard. It includes four tetami private rooms, a large dining room behind bamboo screens and open sashimi bar.

“ The lighting and craftsmanship with selection of the materials and timber for the various spaces was exceptionally executed and exemplified our pursuit of attention to detail and quality. We collaborated with Andrew's father Qi Ai Guo who is a renown bar and hospitality designer in Beijing, China, and was able to oversea the detailing and execution of the build down to the styling and furniture procurement. ”
